Previously published in two separate volumes in 1994, this digital PDF edition combines both volumes covering the story of the 1st Battalion (43rd) Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry through the run up to the Normandy landings of June 1944 and its aftermath, the prolonged campaign in Northern France and North West Europe 1944-1945.

This edition also includes further photgraphs and narrative to cover the exploits of the regiment throughout the Second World War and early post-war period as an Allied occupation force in Germany.

Includes the 43rd Light Infantry Roll of Honour, commemorating the names of those who gave their lives in the Second World War  with deatils of their resting place.
