Service in Cyprus

A brand new exhibition of the sketches, photos and memories of Martin Slater, based on his National Service in the late 1950s. Now a retired lab technician, Martin Slater was educated in Oxford at the Dragon School and Magdalen College School before he spent his years of National Service with the Royal Artillery in the UK, Cyprus and later Germany, between 1956 and 1958.

Martin is the author of Stranger in Saigon, a memoir from his time working with the British Medical Team in South Vitenam from 1968 - 1971.
