Stories of Conflict & County: Oxfordshire at War
SOFO is working on a new project and will be inviting you to explore this growing archive of stories gathered for the county as we remember life in Oxfordshire from 1939 through to today.
These stories will all have a military connection and reflect the diverse experiences of people, whether as serving men and women or by living close to military sites.
As a first step we are encouraging you to share your own accounts about life in Oxfordshire: Perhaps you have family stories passed down through the generations? Maybe you are a keen local history researcher and can tell us more about how your town or village responded to the Second World War?
Uploading your own stories and photographs is easy, just use the form below.
